Pakistan has the world’s sixth largest population at about 185 million people and one in every four citizens is poor. With a national literacy rate of 56% (67% for men, 42% for women), Pakistan has one of the largest illiterate populations in the world. Without adequate education, our people face a life of poverty, unemployment, hopelessness and despair.
Since inception, TMF’s mission is to catalyze positive socio-economic change in Pakistan by providing quality education, raising literacy standards, and ultimately addressing poverty in communities throughout Pakistan.
